Requires: Rehabilitation course in Dr. Myshlyayev’s clinic in Nizhny Novgorod worth 206,900 rubles.
Diagnosis: Atypical autism.
Timofey is an amazing boy. At 9 years old he can effortlessly add up figures up to 1,000 in his mind and solve three-act tasks. He studies in the first grade of a special school following the general educational program, making great strides in Maths.
But although Timofey develops within the age norm – both mentally and physically – he can’t speak. He can’t explain to his family how he manages to add up figures and solve tasks so quickly. He can’t share his thoughts about the neighbour’s cat or explain why he prefers the red petrol tanker toy to the blue truck. On top of that, Tim has lots of questions he’d like to ask his mom! For instance, he wonders where all the water in the Ik river that flows along their beautiful home town Oktyabrsky comes from.
But so far he fails to ask all those questions.
After the first rehabilitation course the boy started imitating sounds when requested and pronouncing syllables. Deep at heart Tim hopes that all those men and women from the clinic he had the rehabilitation course at will help him make words out of syllables and later, perhaps, even pronounce a few words together. Timofey has already packed his things to get ready for the trip – he took a new copy book to solve mathematical tasks and found a box to put his favourite petrol tanker toy to take with him.
Due to financial difficulties the family can’t afford to pay for Tim’s rehabilitation course in the clinic in Nizhny Novgorod. But his family believes that this time he’ll start speaking after the course.
Let’s join our efforts to help Timofey!
