Needs a verticalizer SHIFU OCEAN, worth 165,000, 00 rubles.
Diagnosis: cerebral palsy. Spastic diplegia. Dysarthria.
From the letter of Daniel’s mother:
“I am the mother of a disabled child. Daniel is fourteen years old and has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He cannot move or look after himself, the child is almost all the time in a wheelchair or on the couch, he can crawl on stomach but it is hard. Dani has very poor coordination and needs support all the time.
Daniel is a very kind, funny and cheerful child. He likes to talk about life in general, sports as well as meet people and will happily talk with anyone.
In January of this year, Daniel went to the Medical Center “Sakura”, however this is not his first trip to Chelyabinsk, a city which he really likes. In that area, it has the most important, local highly qualified specialists who know how to help Daniel.
Specially selected exercises have been selected for him which have proved to be very productive. Daniel was initially very tired after conducting these exercises with the instructor, but soon he began to move very actively as his muscles have begun to learn how to obey him. As a result, now he walks more confidently, faster, but of course not without our help.
Additionally, Daniel has also improved in the emotional depart as he becomes more mature and shows changes in his posture. The orthopedist recommends Daniel to engage more often in the pool and on the verticalizer. Despite this advice, we do not have these facilities. Daniel needs to stand upright more and walk more, but this is not possible without a verticalizer.
Therefore, I appeal to you to help us acquire a verticalizer for Daniel, since such an expensive rehabilitation course and the technology that comes with it cannot be bought by our family on our own!”
