35 wards of the Moscow boarding school №11 already have been examined with an electrocardiograph, which we purchased with the funds raised with you in December. That means, 35 people with severe developmental disabilities underwent an ECG right in the institution to monitor their heart condition or to adjust their treatment.
As the director of the institution, Viktor Nikolaevich Surodin, said, all the necessary software was installed on the electrocardiograph. 3 nurses have been trained to work with the cardiograph. The device is placed at the medical admissions unit.
We are glad that the problem of the necessary constant monitoring of the heart condition of the wards of the boarding house with severe psychoneurological diagnoses has been solved and they don’t have to be transported to polyclinic for that. And now they can do an ECG without any risk of contracting coronavirus and they no longer need to experience inconvenience when traveling to the clinic being that many of them have difficulties moving about. In addition, in the case of an acute condition of the wards, cardiologists will be able to quickly find out the reason and provide them with emergency assistance if necessary.
We recall that we were able to pay exactly for such a cardiograph, which according to the administration of the institution was best suited in terms of performance and quality – a SCHILLER CARDIOVIT AT-102 plus electrocardiograph worth 400,000 rubles.
