Young specialists bring with them to the team not only concerns about their development, activity and initiative, but also new tools and skills in the digital environment and fresh views on problem solving. In October media-trainee Elizaveta and NGO-trainee Danila joined to our team under the program «Internships. «Moscow is a kind city». They are going to help us in our work until the end of the year. Thanks to the guys, this year we will be able to do a lot of things for which we did not have enough resources. Today we are going to introduce you to Elizabeth.
As Liza said, she began interesting in the media sphere while studying at the Cadet School: she organized events, was a regular photojournalist for the school newspaper. These hobbies led her to choose a profession related to media and advertising: Lisa successfully graduated from the Higher School of Printing and Media Industry (University of Printing named by I. Fedorov) with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Lisa also honorably passed the 2020 Voluntary Qualification Exam in the professions Advertising specialist and PR manager, organized by the Moscow Government.
In addition, Lisa was a member of the Youth Parliament of the city of Moscow, where she had the opportunity to take many useful courses, including advanced training at the Moscow State University of Administration of the Moscow Government, as well as clerical courses, which she graduated with honors.
And that is not all! Simultaneously with her studies at the university, Lisa combined classes with project work: she collaborated with advertising and marketing agencies, where she administered and coordinated PR, BTL, EVENT projects of many well-known brands. Lisa has experience of participating in the preparation and holding of a number of city events – the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Solemn March on Red Square and many other city events.
Thanks to such a varied applied experience, Lisa makes a significant contribution to the communication of our foundation with various audiences.
«We are very lucky with Lisa. She plunged into the process of preparing media materials and fund events, – said Inna Obraztsova, PR-specialist of the Diema’s Dream Fund – As it turned out, Lisa has a good sense of words, artistic taste and a large arsenal of tools and skills in visual and textual content design, which is very important for our Foundation. Such help of the trainee is very valuable for us. I am sure that work in a foundation that supports children with severe and multiple developmental disabilities will be useful for Liza too because of helping the children who need most care!»
Under the city program «Internships. «Moscow is a kind city» graduates of Moscow colleges and universities in 2019 and 2020 undergo a three-month internship in organizations and NGOs in Moscow. Interns work on a flexible schedule 20 hours a week, and their labor is paid from the city budget in the amount of 20,195 rubles per month. It is expected that young specialists will try their hands at their chosen profession and field of activity, gain useful experience in non-profit organizations and the best institutions of the Moscow Government’s Social Development Complex.
There were a lot of people willing to participate in the Program: the competition was almost three people per place. Namely, from more than 1400 applications, 500 interns were selected who showed the best results during testing and online interviews. The guys were selected taking into account such competencies as responsibility, ability to communicate and work with information, work in a team, willingness to help other people.
It is expected that during the internship, young people, in addition to gaining invaluable experience, will learn and put into practice new skills, improve their soft skills, and as a result, supplement their resume with new achievements that will help them in further employment.
