Danila was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was 1 year old. The doctors shrugged their shoulders: “Humble yourself, he won’t even sit by himself, let alone walk and take care of himself” … But Danila’s mother began to fight for her child.
From mom’s letter:
“Unfortunately, free treatment is provided only once a year under a quota. For a child with disabilities like Danila’s, this is a drop in the ocean. From communication with mothers of the same children, I learned about private centers, different methods and approaches. And our trips began and the search for our specialist, our center. Now, after 13 years, I know exactly which methodology of classes gives the result exactly to my child. We found a center that uses an integrated approach to rehabilitation, and we dream of going there again.
Now Danila himself stands at the support, can move with support, knows how to ride an orthopedic bike. The son is studying in the 6th grade according to the adaptive program. There is, of course, a lot of work ahead, because we need to adapt the child to everyday life as much as possible so that in the future he can serve himself. But this requires regular rehabilitation courses, classes under the guidance of qualified specialists.
I am raising a child alone and cannot work – my son needs constant care and rehabilitation. The family’s only income is a disability pension. We are not able to pay for expensive treatment courses on our own. I ask all caring people to respond and help Danila get closer to his dream – to become a full-fledged member of society, to avoid life in a wheelchair. ”
Our foundation starts raising funds for Danila!
