Dear benefactors, partners and friends,
We are pleased to announce that the Diema’s Dream Foundation has changed its name. Now we are the The Charitable Foundation for Help to Children-Orphans and People with Disabilities “Diema’s Dream”. .
Previously, we were just a foundation, although we operated on the basis of the Charity Act.
Foundation and Charitable Foundation – is there a difference?
Yes there is. The foundation may not be charitable. For example, the Pension Fund, the Social Insurance Fund, unfortunately)) are not charitable. There is the Social Investment Fund and others that may not be involved in charitable activities at all.
In essence, we were originally a charitable organization, and now we have clarified the founding documents and the name.
We continue to provide assistance to orphans and disabled children in orphanages and families. This year the fund celebrated its 15th anniversary and we have updated the charter, brought it in line with the current legislation, and also added a section on endowment capital.
We hope you will always enjoy our results.
We have made great strides in developing the Portage method of working with children with severe and multiple developmental disabilities. And we dared to dream about the formation of the Endowment Capital and received the support of the V. Potanin Foundation to form it.
We hope to continue to delight you with our results and changes for the better!
