Liza and Danila the interns of the program “Internships. ” Moscow is a Kind City ” have been working for our foundation for 3 months. Recent university graduates, they improve their understanding of various aspects of the fund’s activities with great interest and diligently carry out all tasks. We are very encouraged by their professional qualities – knowledge of new tools and skills in the digital environment, as well as human, personal qualities – activity and initiative, responsiveness and openness, constant willingness to help and responsibility. We believe, these are the best qualities that you can only wish to see in the staff of the foundation, in addition to professionalism.
We have already told you about one of the two trainees who joined our team – media trainee Elizaveta, who helps the foundation develop communications with the media, the specialists of “Portage”, philanthropic companies, and individuals. Now we would like to introduce you to Danila.
This is what Danila tells about his work in the Diema’s Dream Foundation:
In the internship program I help the foundation with paperwork. My help is greatly appreciated, because it is really needed. I feel that I have already did my contribution, and I am very happy about that. As for my study I completed my Bachelor’s degree in “State and Municipal Administration” and now I am studying for a Master’s degree in “Market economy and industrial organizations”. I like to study how global economic relations are arranged, to identify and analyze patterns in economics and management, that is why I am studying this area. In my free time I am fond of learning JavaScript, playing sports. Of course, my profile education and ongoing training are very different from my current activities in the organization, but I see a different point in that. The main idea is to help in the spheres where it is really needed and get a great personal experience.”
Danila has checked, disassembled, sorted hundreds of contracts, acts, scanned and archived many documents. In addition, Danila connected and set up new printers received from charitable companies, and he also installed programs on new large-diagonal monitors and laptops purchased with a grant from the Potanin Foundation for office employees. Also, our intern independently went on a business trip to Pskov. And Danila also helps the employees of the fund without fail wherever a bit of strong arm is needed. We are very pleased that Danila chose our foundation for his internship.
Under the city program “Internships. “Moscow is a Kind City” the graduates of Moscow colleges and universities in 2019 and 2020 can undergo a three-month internship in organizations and NGOs in Moscow. As a result of this year selection, 500 people became trainees and on October the 1st they began working in 11 areas. It is a paid internship; it takes 20 working hours per week and it will last until December 30. The program is coordinated by the city center “My Career”.
