The equipment of the sensory room was completed in the Arzamas orphanage with the support of employees and Renaissance Capital-FK LLC.
Assistance was provided in the amount of 663,849 rubles.
The fundraising campaign started on the eve of the New Year. The employees of the company, as well as the company itself, have been initiating the “correct help” for children with severe and multiple developmental disorders for more than 10 years. They consistently support the foundation’s programs to improve the quality of life, fight poverty and help the most disadvantaged children and families in difficult life situations, despite crises and global changes.
When the pandemic happened, the Renaissance Capital-FC team raised funds and we paid for the treatment and rehabilitation of 8 children with cerebral palsy at once. On the eve of this year, it was decided to help the orphanage with the equipment of the sensory room, the need for which had long been reported by experts.
And now the dream has come true! The repair and equipment of the sensory room were successful. There was a delay in the equipment at customs, but everything worked out.
106 children with severe and multiple developmental disorders permanently live in the orphanage. And as you can see in the photo, these are often not small children at all. Unfortunately, we rarely adopt such children. And the majority remains to live within the walls of government institutions. You can improve the quality of life of children right now by changing the living conditions of children and making them as close to home as possible. Sensory rooms are also important. Because one of the problems in the life of our wards is sensory deprivation – a depleted environment. The sensory room and special equipment significantly enrich this environment.
The family gives the child many times more opportunities for sensory, emotional, intellectual development. In a children’s institution, special equipment and trained specialists help to compensate for sensory hunger and create conditions for relaxation, or vice versa, to stimulate the development of a child. Lighting equipment, music, objects different in texture and temperature… Here you can create your own magical world for each child and in reality develop the child in accordance with his personal needs.
The presence of such rooms during the pandemic has become especially relevant. For more than a year, the children were in quarantine, and the teachers worked on a rotational basis. Now the Arzamas Orphanage (the State Budgetary Institution “Arzamas House of Social Services for Children” Mayak “”) has not only its own Salt Cave for halotherapy, which we equipped last year, but also a sensory room. New quarantine measures are no longer so terrible. It will be more fun!
We sincerely thank the employees and the Renaissance Capital-FK LLC for their help in equipping the sensory room, caring for children and a reliable partnership! We wish you success and prosperity at any time!
